On June 15, Liu Ning, Secretary of the Henan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, visited Weihua Group for an on-site investigation. He was accompanied by Chen Xing, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People’s Congress and Secretary-General of the Provincial Party Committee; Li Weidong, Secretary of the Xinxiang Municipal Party Committee; Wei Jianping, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Xinxiang; and Fan Wenqing, Secretary of the Changyuan Municipal Party Committee. Chairman Han Hong’an of the Group received Secretary Liu Ning and his delegation.

During the visit to Weihua, Secretary Liu Ning inquired in detail about the company’s technological innovation progress and application scenarios expansion. Chairman Han Hong’an introduced that Weihua adheres to independent innovation, has achieved localization and replacement of key core components, and highlighted the company’s achievements in Party-building leadership, intelligent and green development, and the transformation of scientific and technological achievements.

Liu Ning emphasized: “As General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out during his inspection in Henan, modern manufacturing relies on technological empowerment. We must strengthen technological breakthroughs and pursue a path of independent innovation.” He stressed the need to reinforce the dominant role of enterprises in innovation, increase R&D investment, overcome key core technologies, accelerate the full-chain application of artificial intelligence and digital technologies, and continuously strengthen non-public Party building work to explore distinctive modern enterprise governance models.

He also urged local officials to engage deeply with enterprises, understand them from a governance perspective, and actively help them communicate policies, solve problems, and strengthen confidence. Through improved work style and service efficiency, efforts should be made to better support the real economy and promote high-quality development.
