The overhead crane wheels are an important component of bridge crane (also called an overhead crane), mainly used to support the weight of the crane and enable its smooth movement. The wheels are usually mounted on the crane's trolley or main trolley and move along the crane's rails.

Overhead Crane Wheel Types

Weihua's overhead crane wheels (bridge crane wheels) are typically divided into two types: driving wheel sets and driven wheel sets, meeting the operational requirements of cranes:

1. Driving Wheel Set:Responsible for the crane's driving power, usually connected to the motor, reducer, and braking system, providing the crane's mobility.

2. Non-Driving Wheel Set:Responsible for supporting and stabilizing the crane, not involved in power transmission, but ensuring stable operation of the crane.

Overhead Crane Wheel Material

Weihua bridge crane wheels are typically made of high-strength alloy steel, ductile iron, or special alloy materials. These materials have good wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and a long service life. Common materials include:

1. High-strength Cast Steel:Wear-resistant and with strong load-bearing capacity, suitable for high-load environments.

2. Ductile Iron:Used when bearing lighter loads, with high tensile strength and toughness.
